A Clarksville Police Department detective has been placed on paid administrative leave pending a Tennessee Bureau of Investigation criminal investigation. Chief Al Ansley said Detective Raymond Macias, a major crimes narcotics agent, was placed on paid leave Friday. He will be on paid leave for seven days as required by CPD policy and then placed on unpaid leave pending the outcome of the investigation. Ansley said the details of the investigation could not be discussed pending the outcome of the investigation.
Kristin Helm, TBI public information officer, said no arrest have been made and the investigation is ongoing. "We opened the investigation last week on him, Helm said.
